Fuji Yama - Slidell

We have ordered dinner through delivery apps a few times now. The food arrives flawlessly packed. Our dinner is always perfectly cooked and delicious. We requested changes to the dishes that we not readily available as options on the menu, but they made sure our wishes were fulfilled. EXCELLENT EMPLOYEES, EXCELLENT SERVICE, EXCELLENT FOOD... ALL AROUND OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE!!! I will leave a 5 star review on Door Dash (as i have on Waitr) as soon as I am asked to rate them! Thank you for a great family dinner!

We usually pick this restaurant for hibachi because it’s always such a fun experience. However, during our most recent visit, we didn't feel as welcomed as before. The chef wasn't as interactive and appeared to focus more on other guests than on us. On the bright side, the food remains consistently excellent—the shrimp and scallops never let us down!

What a wonderful place for a family outing! The chefs are entertaining and really elevate the entire experience. Additionally, the food is extremely fresh and delicious!

We've been fans of Fuji Yama for a couple of years now, and it's the only Japanese hibachi restaurant we truly trust in the Slidell area. We usually dine in and always go for the hibachi, but last night we decided to try takeout. We ordered several sushi items ($40) along with hibachi dinner combos of chicken and shrimp ($21), chicken and scallops ($22), and a seafood combo ($37) for five people. Everything was very good! The meal also came with soup and salad. The staff was polite, courteous, and quick to help. There are a few other so-called Japanese restaurants in the area, but I wouldn't recommend them.
