Golden Dragon Buffet - Slidell

My wife and I absolutely love dining at the Golden Dragon Buffet 2, and our kids enjoy it just as much. They have an extensive buffet with a wide variety of dishes and desserts. I highly recommend giving it a try!

We usually visit a small Chinese restaurant near our home in Picayune, but we decided to try a larger buffet this time because the price was appealing. While all the food was served hot, I was disappointed to find that none of the dishes were to my liking despite the wide selection. The service was good, but honestly, I'd prefer to pay a bit more for food that I actually enjoy rather than save money on something that doesn't taste good. We won't be returning to this restaurant, and I can't recommend it unless good flavor isn't a priority for you. Save your money and choose a different place to dine!

I dined at this restaurant last night, and while the food was good, I experienced an issue afterward. Shortly after my meal, I needed to use the restroom, and I noticed a girl at a table across from me spending about ten minutes there just five minutes into her meal. This has never happened to me before—having to go to the bathroom right after eating. If you're at a restaurant and notice any odd or unpleasant smells, it’s usually a sign that something is off. I love buffets and have been going to them my whole life, and I can tell you that whenever there’s a strange smell, there’s definitely something wrong with the food.

Overall food was great, rolls/sushi were limited there wasn't a lot to choose from but they had so much crab ???? for the crab lovers out there oh and oysters. The sweet tea is amazing and they even have hot tea which helps with digestion of the food. I really wish the cakes/pastries were better. They didn't taste all too great.

Location very good and easy to park, outside clean and looks safe, as soon as we enter we was received with a big smile from the receptionist with glass!! Great this is an amazing start, and don't stop, all workers very friendly and fast! The restaurant inside is clean, I don't see dirty floor or any table without being taken care. The food was great all fresh and a big variety, sushi very good, simple sushi but very good! Owner keep this amazing job, the service is the keyto prosper, Congratulations!!! Ohhh also the price is really really good ????????????????????????
