Middendorf's Slidell

This place was great! The food was great and good portion sizes. Wish the bbq shrimp had some rice or something a lot more filling because it's a small amount for that kind of price. Only complaint. Have to go back when it's not storming and we can sit outside and eat. Great place, great food.

I was fishing in the area and mother nature decided to empty her buckets of rain on me. So I figured out another way to catch a fish. Lovely Rita served me the best catfish poboy I ever had. So much catfish, it looked more like a seafood platter on french bread. Rita kept me entertained at the bar while I devoured that tasty catfish. I will have to plan more fishing trips in the Manchac area just to stop by and try another great meal.

I will always remember my father bring ing me here in 1973. We ordered Crawfish and Barq's root beer. They laid down news paper on the table. Then crawfish on top of it. I go there every time I get a chance when visiting family. Service is great and the food is awesome. Thank You for that childhood memory middendorfs

My husband and I had lunch at Middendorf's today and it was fantastic! We had the best server ever (Brenda) and could not have been more satisfied with our food. I had fettuccine with shrimp and my husband had fish and shrimp. We live in Mississippi and will definitely be back.

It was comforting to see that all of the employees as well as the owner were properly wearing their masks. Thanks for keeping us safe.
