My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant one evening and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the venue. We were extremely satisfied with our experience! The cocktails were delicious and the food was outstanding. We ordered the California plate, and it paired perfectly with our drinks!

I gave this restaurant 3 stars for the ambiance and food, but not for the service. As a first time patron, I visited on Thursday steak night from 6pm-9pm. I sat at the bar without knowing much about the establishment. I would consider this place more of a bar with food rather than a restaurant with a bar, as the bar top only had about 15-20 seats and you had your back against the rest of the establishment. The clientele seemed to be upper middle class, all dressed nicely, and there were lots of regulars who knew the staff by name. The average age was in the upper 50's to mid 60's, with a few customers in their upper 40's. The bar was packed with about 4-5 bartenders working. The bartenders Fallon and Erika were polite and accommodating. I ordered the Prime Filet dinner (medium) with a loaded baked potato and an import beer. My food arrived at 7pm, and the steak was overcooked and dry. The potato came wrapped in foil and I had to dress it myself with cheese and bacon from small plastic containers. The ambiance was crowded and noisy, especially once the music started playing at 7:15pm. The service was busy but controlled, with Fallon being attentive and helpful. Overall, the experience felt more like being at a crowded bar in my mid 20's rather than a restaurant.

I phoned in advance to confirm that they had the capacity to accommodate our company's happy hour. The staff were helpful and willing to accommodate us. However, I wish I had been informed that they were hosting an event on the same night. This seemed to affect the service, the friendliness of the staff, and our overall experience. Our food arrived at different times, some orders were forgotten, and the bartenders appeared overwhelmed and not very happy to serve us. I am concerned that our group may not return in the future.

I only ordered a sandwich glass of wine, not expecting much, but this was the BEST Club Sandwich I've ever eaten! And it's truly enough for 2 people. And I always go back and order the same! The Potato Salad that comes with it is fabulous! It's very homemade tasting! And I had wine at lunch, it was very reasonably priced for a glass of wine (maybe $6 ? . Very lovely lunch place. Not many tables, but just enough.
