Jade Garden - Sligo

I dined at this restaurant for the first time over 10 years ago and can truly say it offers some of the best Asian cuisine I have ever had. The food is of good quality, delicious, and authentic in flavor. I have been a regular patron ever since my first visit. Recently, I decided to dine there again while I was in Sligo for the weekend, hoping to impress my partner. After viewing the online menu, we chose to visit on a Sunday evening. Unfortunately, we were surprised to learn upon arrival that the restaurant is now only offering takeaway service. I was willing to take our food to go and eat in the car, but my partner preferred dining in a restaurant setting, so we decided to dine elsewhere. Although I understand the necessity of changes due to COVID-19, it is disappointing that the restaurant has not made any efforts to accommodate in-house dining, especially since many other restaurants in the area have resumed serving customers on-site. It would be helpful if the restaurant's website was updated to reflect this change to avoid any confusion for future diners.

While staying at Strandhill Caravan Park, we dined at this restaurant. The food was prepared promptly, packaged nicely, and served hot. We opted for the salmon and the steak teriyaki, and both dishes were exceptional. The portions were whole pieces, not chopped up, and we highly recommend trying them.

Only doing take sways. Efficient service , packaged well. Hot. Ample portions . Yes I agree bland. Flavours dominated by garlic and burnt oil .

Jade Garden is always excellent. The food is delicious, the staff are welcoming pleasant. I have been here many times down the years would always recommend it to anyone. The ambiance is relaxed convivial, what a view of the Atlantic when you leave after a great meal! Excellent value for money. You cannot go wrong.

I have tried most, if not all the Chinese restaurants in Sligo, but this is by far the best. I'm confused to see some negative reviews here as I've never had a bad meal or takeaway here. The quality of the food is excellent, fresh and very tasty. My favourite dish has to be the House Special Curry the best curry sauce!
