Pupp's Bbq - Smackover

I arrived at the restaurant and saw a sign stating that due to rising meat prices, each sandwich would cost $8. I was okay with that, but unfortunately, the BBQ sandwiches were served cold—the meat was cold, and the bun was both cold and dry!

My 85-year-old mother has not been eating well for some time. Today, I brought home a rack of ribs, cheesy potatoes, and spicy coleslaw. My brother and I both noticed that it was the most she has eaten in quite a while. The food was delicious, as usual!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered the full rack of ribs, along with beans and potato salad. I can confidently say that Whole Hog Cafe doesn't compare to these ribs. The beans were tasty, and the potato salad was perfect. I'll definitely be promoting Pupp's to help bring in more customers!

What a fantastic family-owned restaurant! We drove in from Fort Worth, TX, just to try the barbecue, and it was definitely worth the trip—we'll be back for sure! The decor both inside and outside creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. Our meats and sides were all delicious, with the brisket having a unique flavor that I've never experienced before—absolutely amazing! Everyone in the kitchen and at the register was friendly, and we truly appreciated their attention to our food allergies. We can't wait to come back for those ribs!

Mmmm, the pulled pork sandwich is fantastic! It has a wonderful smoky flavor and is served on a fabulous bun. The baked beans, with bits of chili meat, are excellent as well. The seating is spacious, and the service is friendly. There's also seating upstairs! Come on down, everyone—a fantastic and welcoming addition to El Dorado!
