Paul's Bakery - Smithers

Historic bakery in the valley, top notch products. Along with the history and great quality comes very high prices though!

The service at this restaurant is top-notch. The Dutch Cinnamon Bread is absolutely delicious and perfect for enjoying on a Sunday morning as French Toast with maple syrup.

The 'bearclaws' at Paul's will be the death of me yet :-) These doughnuts can be subdivided to share with at least one if not two other people, BUT you have to get there early (before 11AM) to get one as they are one of the most popular items they sell.

This bakery does not fail your sense of smell when you walk by. Inevitably you walk in to buy a fresh donut or some other deliscious pastry. Their Sugar bread is popular with the locals and also with people who have moved away from the valley. Friends of ours always request that we bring a couple of loaves when we go to visit them in Calgary. Friendly and helpful staff.

If you're in Smithers or just passing through, make sure to stop at this bakery for some delicious freshly baked treats. The cinnamon bread is especially delicious and a must-try!
