Christophe's - Smithfield

Ordered roast chicken from the carvery. It was just after noon and lunch service only begun but they still managed to serve lukewarm food. Staff were totally disinterested, obviously unhappy in their work. Plenty other restaurants in the area to check out, don’t waste your money here.

Lovely location and great food. Reasonably priced. Right beside entrance to Jamesons Distillery. Great selection of main courses, soups, sandwiches and cake. Good coffee as well.

Had lunch whilst we waited for our booking at The Jamesons factory. So surprised by the quality of food. Assumed as it was opposite an attraction it would be fast food and no taste! Had a couple of the sandwiches and some cake. Just to be polite! Lovely fresh flavours and massive portions!

Dropped in here for lunch while in the area. Lovely choice of hot and cold food and staff were friendly. Would definitely visit again if we are in Smithfield.

We are staying in Smithfield fir 3 months. Decided to try this restaurant for lunch. The young man making sandwiches was of no help at all. Not welcoming. We had never been there and didn’t exactly know how to order. He was more concerned watching someone else in the restaurant. We both felt comfortable ordering a ham panini because it was obvious he didn’t care what we ordered. The bits of slivers of ham he put on our sandwiches I would have thrown away. He was telling us to move on. They must bring the food to you. That was never told to us. Bread was ok but the fillings were sparse to nothing. We will not be back. Very disappointing.
