I felt like they had a good beer menu for people who like traditional beers like IPAs/lagers and also for those who like sours and ciders. There are normal restaurant tables and high tops (also the bar of course). Staff was friendly and nice. No complaints- even the bathrooms were clean
Cheryl and Larry are the owners and always make you feel welcomed and like you are part of the family. I love this about locally run businesses. Tonight we participated in a beer pairing dinner. OMG! It was comfort food and everything was fantastic. Give them a try. You will feel welcome.
The best tasting craft beer in the Raleigh/Durham area, especially if you like dark beers. They have many limited offerings that supply different flavor combinations not found elsewhere, including many barrel ages varieties. Sparkky's chocolate coffee milk stout is my favorite of all of them. All of the cask aged varieties of Sparkky's and Vanilla Porter have been excellent. There was a brandy barrel aged stout that was exceptional.
Go here now before it becomes world wide. This is hands down the BEST beer I have ever had. The flavors are unique, yet killer. I truly feel that if they wanted to, they could win contest after contest, even on TV. It is a well kept secret. The outdoor patio is amazing, inside is small, but cozy. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The owners are often around and very sweet as well. We look forward to their holiday releases each year (Gourd Rocker-life changing! . Just go!
Great stop on our NC trip. Had a new release, Strawberry Cake Blonde. The beer was great and the staff was very friendly. I loved the outside patio area. I will definitely come back when in town.
