Odyssey - Smithfield

Condesa has really delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere is good and the staff are experts on the food they serve. We recommend this place for a special occasion or whenever you want to enjoy a very special meal. Don't forget the desert!

Great date night place. Nice decor. Low lights. Very clean, even the bathrooms. Our server Kat was fantastic. It was our first time here. She gave us time to check the menu without rushing and answered some questions. She was attentive, though it seemed that she also worked the bar. The food was DELICIOUS and the watermelon margarita was fantastic! Everything you see here for a little under $100. I loved their menu and how they even included some great information such as the types of Tequila and the difference between Tequila and Mezcal. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the Tres Leches was a little dry. Only the lower part of the cake was wet. Even then it tasted good, just not like a traditional tres leches, which is damper all around. Except that though this place was great!

I'm not much in Mexican cuisine, but this place is very good. We came here for my son's 15th birthday dinner. He always chooses this place. The guacamole is delicious and fresh. I had the 'tacos pablanos' for my meal (shown on the photo). I ate one of the tacos before I grabbed the picture... They give you 3 tacos with the meal. The fried beans are very tasty and the rice is also good. I don't agree with Mexican food. In a while, I agree to come here because I know the food is good.

The food is always quite good here. The service was really good. Our waitress was friendly and patient with the children. The portions were a little small for the price, but everything tasted good. The rice was excellent and the beans were decent. The fresh salsa that came with the free chips was quite delicious. The waitress brought me some Habanero sauce to season the salsa a little more. The spicy margarita was delicious, but not too spicy. A little more expensive for the size. Overall a good experience and we will be back.

This was my fourth or fifth time at Condesa. Always been consistent. Always been great. Authentic, great atmosphere and awesome drink list. This time around was extra awesome. Carlos really made the night stand out. A true professional of his craft. Perfect timing, approach and genuineness. Would love to have him in any of my restaurants!
