Red Chimney Restaurant - Smoky Lake

Every couple of months when we travel back from visiting the Grandkids we travel through Smokey Lake, and this has become a must-stop on our trip. We pick up their Red Chimney Special (Pizza) and love it each and every time. Call ahead about 20 minutes out and you pick it up straight from the oven. We haven't yet tried anything else because we love the pizza so much, but we have plans too.

Wow this pizza is amazing! And although they were short staffed and slammed because of a concert they got our pizza made quicker then they expected and the waitress and cook were both super friendly and happy! Love to see that especially these day! Thanks for the excellent pizza and service!

By chance, as we were passing thru Smoky Lake we stopped by the Red Chimney for lunch. What a stroke of luck to find this gem!! What can I say: restaurant is extremely clean, service was excellent and the food was so good, hot and a very good portion. I had poutine, so good. This chef has it right. Melted cheese throughout the fries and gravy. My husbands burger was amazing too. Don’t hesitate to enjoy a meal here. You won’t be disappointed!!!!

Wow. I got a burger and and order of mushroom caps to go and they were amazing. It was obvious that there was a significant pride of ownership that went into our meal. The burger was carefully crafted by someone who obviously cared and the mushroom caps were so go they might be illegal. Never again will Smoky Lake be a town that I simply drive by.

Everytime I go to the Red Chimney the meals are outstanding the service is incredible and the feel of the restaurant its so cozy. if anyone decides to visit try what you can the pizzas are amazing but also The Champs Burger is delicious hope y'all give it a try :
