There were a fair number of patrons around, but plenty of empty tables as well. I ordered the Creatwood Club, which is a club sandwich, but I received a burger instead. The burger was okay, but the fries were cold and stale, and the bottom bun was so soggy that I had to use a fork to eat it. When I looked at my bill, I noticed I was charged for "The Creatwood," so perhaps they have a burger named The Creatwood and a club sandwich called The Creatwood Club. This naming might seem clever, but it clearly suggests that no one with real experience in waiting tables was consulted. Our server was very friendly and attentive; she even brought the bill before we finished our meal. This feels like a very American practice—making you wait a long time, then rushing the bill along with the food, as if they want you to clear the table quickly. Personally, I don’t mind paying early and leaving when I’m ready. Overall, I think the restaurant has become a bit complacent. With their casual, friendly atmosphere and prime location in the heart of Smyrna, they seem to have a steady influx of customers. However, I believe they have the potential to do better! The staff and servers are polite and accommodating, but it seems like they might be facing some management or staffing challenges—though I suppose that’s something many places are dealing with this year.
A fun spot for hanging out with friends and family, while enjoying good food and drink. Highly recommend the nachos, buffalo chicken wrap and the fantastic fried fish sandwich. The rooftop has an open layout, so try to snag a seat upstairs for a view, the TVs, a little sun and quick service.
I typically visit the Pho restaurant next door, but I decided to give this place a try, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Everything we ordered was incredibly tasty. There were numerous TVs around, which I'm sure sports fans appreciate. We had the Dirty Bird sandwich, Cajun chicken pasta, and the bread pudding dessert—everything was delightful! The bathrooms were also very clean.
Our burgers came out quickly and were really delicious. I ended up getting up to find the ketchup since our server hadn’t checked on us, but thankfully, another server noticed we were being overlooked and brought us drink refills. It's possible that our server was just overwhelmed, but if that's the case, they really need to reassess their staffing, especially since the place was busy. Overall, I wouldn't consider returning here when there are other nearby options like Stockyard and Marlow's, where I've had much better experiences.
Abigail was so nice and attentative. Plus I was hungry. So thus the reason for the horrible pictures. Just know you will enjoy yourself if you patronize here. The food is top notch. The Blind Pirate is a must try of you like IPAs. Salmon was ????? Lemonpepper wings was like oh yeah. Hit the spot. Especially since it was a late lunch type of visit. Plenty of TVs too. Stop by andthank me later for the recommendation.
