While I was waiting, I noticed a woman behind a glass partition feverishly patching out small tortillas. It was like I got a show. When I watched her, a father came with his daughter and the little girl went to her and slipped a dollar under her partition into the change cup, whereupon the woman rolled one of these little tortillas with some salsa and gave it to the little girl that went happy. That made me smile. The woman noticed my smile and offered me one as well as asking if I ever had one. I said that I didn't get into my pocket to see if I could change anything (I never have change, hardly ever). She told me not to worry about the money and she gave me one with a big smile. I took it grateful and it was a wonderful pleasure! I know I didn't have a loose change, but I was pretty good at eating that I took myself away. This is the main reason why I really like this restaurant... for its Homie atmosphere and super nice staff.
We only had drinks, but we ate some. You said it was very good. The chips and salsa were delicious. The staff was super friendly. My only thing I complain about is that it took time to get the drinks once you have ordered em. I'd go back.
I enjoy the free chips and salsa/bean dip. Great Fajitas but average service and prices. One of the few places open until 10 o'clock in the area.
They always give you many chips salsa and beans. The food has always been top. I ordered the big margarita once and it was SO STRONG!
We’ve dined at many a Mexican restaurants nearby, and El Paraiso is by far the most consistent. Sometimes the service on a Sunday, or a weekday, can be a little less than attentive, but more often than not this place is great.
