Base Camp Grill - Snowmass Village

The restaurant's hours are either incorrect or they simply want to close early. I called at 7:53 PM to place a takeout order after a long day, which was an hour before their posted closing time. They informed me that they were closing early to clean and let their equipment cool off, suggesting that they didn't want to stay open for the remaining hour. If this is the case, they should clearly state that they close at 8:00 PM in their operating hours.

Our dining experience lasted 1.5 hours. It took 30 minutes to be greeted by a server and another 30 minutes to receive our bill and pay. The food was tasty, but it took longer than expected as both dishes we ordered were undercooked. Despite this, our server was attentive throughout the meal.

Eating at this restaurant is a must, but the prices are too high, even when compared to other restaurants in the area. Paying $30 for a lobster roll and $22 for nachos is not worth it; diners should consider spending their money elsewhere if they want to splurge. I will not be coming back.

No menus were offered, only barcodes. the price range has specified nine and more. the most expensive item in the menu was 18. most dishes were small and overpriced. service was moderate. I had a little salad for $23 without meat. restaurant of the basic camp the chocolate dish was also very small. the menu has shown online what is four years old and the prices were double of what we are specified. also most elements in the menu online we are not available on the new menu.

Bar tenders and overall service is absolutely terrible. Bar tenders are rude. Left after waiting at the bar for over 30 minutes without the bar tender even making eye contact with us. The bar back was rude and acted like we were inconveniencing him for asking if we were in the right spot to order.Worst spot in Snowmass, especially for Fat Tuesday. Go to Venga Venga and you’ll actually enjoy your vacation.
