La Fogata Mexican - Soboba

Love this place…my family has been going here at least 10 years. The food is great and service is too. I usually get the chicken chimichanga and alway have some to take home. The price has gone up like everywhere else but still worth it.

Not Authentic Mexican food as advertised. Tortilla chips and salsa came out first. Chips are stale and salsa tasted sour. We ordered camarones rancheros and a plate of carne asada. Our plates came out extremely quick , around 5 minutes and we had the food at our table. Red flag , how fresh is the food if shrimp and carne asada was prepared that quick? We did not come to a fast food joint, we expected better tastes and quality in both it lacked. Shrimp had an odd taste to it. And carne asada had no seasoning just plain and grey colored steak. We apologized but we could not finish our meals. They where very understanding and insisted the meal was free. We left but not without tipping our waiter, the staff is doing great the atmosphere is perfect but food quality is terrible.

Food not even close to the quality it used to be and they have got expensive. Service is still good and the atmosphere is traditional Hispanic theme.

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and the food is great! Enrique is a great server that is very attentive. He even knows my dad’s order by heart. 10/10 recommend.
