Barbacoa El Ganado - Socorro

The barbacoa is one of the best! and the Menudo canton leaves the one really good and it is really the beat!

Excellent service and food...mason jar aguas frescas are excellent as well...

I had tried this place before a while back and got menudo. I didn't really care for it so I never went back until today. Definitely a hole in the wall with hardly any parking. Very loud music I couldn't hear myself think. Someone mentioned it's the best barbacoa in El Paso. Well at those prices it should be the best in the world. 18 for a pound! We just walked out. I could get a steak dinner for that. Just a couple of years ago you could get a pound for 8. Where do they get off doubling that? I guess they use Wagyu beef or something?

Absolutely phenomenal food. This has become my new favorite restaurant while here El Paso. I cannot recommend it enough.
