Rettenbachgletscher SB-Restaurant

We visited in summer during early lunchtime for drinks and snacks on the way further up the mountain to the top. It's a really big restaurant inside with 2 big dining areas and self service style counters for obtaining your meals. No waiter service. It...as serving what looked to be very nice and well presented home cooked food, although we only had a couple of Apfel Strudels as we had packed a picnic for our lunch. The Strudels with vanilla sauce were lovely and drinks were really good and at reasonable prices too for a mountaintop restaurant. It's nice and clean, plenty of napkins, condiments and clean cutlery always a bonus for a self service). The staff spoke to us in German no problem there we speak a little German too and they were friendly and helpful. Toilets lovely and clean too and free ! From what we could see from other people dining the food looked lovely you should try it. We will next time!

Great place to unwind after or while enjoying the great slopes of the glacier. Great outside seating area. Usual selection of beverages (including hot drinks) and the burger was surprisingly good.

Grillteller für 14,90 Euro + Ketchup ist extra zu bezahlen. Das Fleisch ist überhaupt keine Qualität und das Essen wird von weiten auf den Teller geschmissen, obwohl zu der Zeit wo ich da war fast nix los war im SB Restaurant. Also ich kann es nicht empfehlen! Jedes Andere ist besser!

Ambiente ? Null, wie eine alte Autobahnraststätte" relativ hochpreisiges SB Restaurant. Meine Tiroler Gröstl waren leider sehr schlecht gemacht . Nie wieder !
