Alpengasthof Gaislachalm - Sölden

We had lunch at the lodge and were surprised at the prices for food. Almost 15 euros for an Kaiserschmarren or cheese-spätzle are rare in Austria. Usually it is between 8 and 10 €. Quality was okay. We will not recommend this place or come back. There are much better places in this area with reasonable prices!

One day after we missed the last ride on the Gondola, a drink remained on the way to Solden. Beer nice, but the place is a bit old for brides) and a bit dark inside. Sit out and enjoy the sun. It has a few animals in runs and a pony or two for the children to pets.

A typical Austrian place. Bad music, not very hospitality people. Eat. But high prices. The place is nice after a 3 hours walk and the transportation for sale was funny.

The location is simply superb. They have rooms and offer ski packages which just have to be fantastic in such a location next to ski slopes and hiking paths. For Sölden guests it's simple: if you're looking for nightlife, nightclubs, flying hirsch, red bull, loud bouncing Austrian après ski stuff: go the centre. If you're looking for an authentic ski/hiking holiday with good service and a quiet relaxing location, this is definitely the one you're looking for. We had some snacks and drinks here and the main point here clearly is that the guest is the king! So much friendliness and customer focus, we have rarely experienced. Some minor remark: to get here is quite a challenge, especially in winter. The (off road starts right behind Sölden and takes about 20mins. Without a special car or tires you will never make it in winter. However, the owners told us that they solve this quite easilly. They offer a shuttle service from a parking lot which is easilly accessible near Sölden. Problem solved : (As a matter of fact, we enjoyed this shuttle service right now in summer as we were caught by some rain

Das Essen könnte uns leider nicht überzeugen da gibt es eindeutig bessere Almhütten der Service war nett und die Preise für Getränke und Essen der Qualität angepasst.
