Skovby Kro - Soenderborg

Were helped by a friendly young lady. The owner said that if we sat outside, there would be no service (even though we were the only customers ... but the young lady saw the stupidity of this rule and served us none the less. Ordered steak and chicken breasts for the kids sent the chicken back due to half of it still raw. Got them back and still not all cooked well. Just cut off those pieces since the portions were luckily big and didn’t mention anything about it.

A new experience of cooking on hot stones was had here, and I loved every minute of our evening here in this restaurant. The menu choices were varied, and all the food we had here was delicious and served up by very welcoming hosts. A good selection of drinks too, and our wine of choice went down an absolute treat. If you are looking for somewhere traditional, with great hospitality, then Skoby Kro is highly recommended.

Very good food and a very good service..it Is not expencive..Visit the place and you will not regret..

Went there this summer, with my family, had some traditional danish seafood. Was very well done, good service in an old style village restaurant. A bit on the expensive side, but summer is high season with many tourists. That brings the prices up :

Excellent food cooked oneself on a hot rock. Great meat. Personnel very friendly and accommodating. To be revisited and recommended
