The staff is really friendly and kind, my fiancée wanted to eat at home so we ordered take out. The lady was super kind and assistive, we got some spring rolls and I was recommended bibimbap. When I asked if it 's okay to wait outside she insisted we go in and relax as the room had air conditioner. Place is very cosy with 4 or 5 tables, by the time we sat down to wait only one of them was occupied. 10 mins later picture was different, tables were full and we even went outside so more people could enjoy their dine in. I saw some old reviews saying how dirty it is and how bad the hygiene is, but honestly I think it 's the same level as every common dining place in Sofia. I have never been to Korea so I cannot tell if it was traditional recipes and dishes but it was delicious, warm and definitely something different than the things you can usually find in Sofia. Combine this with the awesome environment and atmosphere and you have something special. Now what boosts this special to unique experience is that the lady running this place is obviously putting all her energy into it, what you get is what she usually cooks at home and she 's clearly busting her a off from early morning to late night. If you are looking for a fancy place with uniformed waiters and shiny menu, this is not the place for you. This is a place for people who want to see the person prepping their food, ask them how they 're doing and have some warm homemade meal. Just be open minded and give it a try : P.S. They are also selling some packaged food and while we waited I saw her gifting some treats to the small customers who were too shy to share her smile. This can hint you what to expect as attitude when you visit :
We tried the seafood dokboki , seafood pancake, tuna bibimbap and the soba noodles. To be honest, those were the worst I have ever had. The seafood seem to be from frozen ones. The taste is bland. The bibimbap as well as pretty bland and tasteless. To be honest , I can say it is worth the price.
I was craving Korean food while I was visiting Sofia and this place had a wonderful menu. I went for the rapokki with beer.
First time trying out Korean food and drink and I can say that it was so delicious.. Thanks! Price was good:we ate Homemade Ramyon(Janchi Guk Su Bibimbap with meat Korean Fried Chicken Coca Cola Korean soft drink 21,54€. One thing though, it might be difficult for the cook to do because she is doing a lot to give us the delicious homemade feel with her food, but maybe 30MINS before you open up to the public, you can clean the floor and the tables a bit.(I even wanted to offer myself to come back and clean up a bit for you, though I’m not a professional cleaner
Absolutely wonderful! You definitely need a korean level of spice tolerance! Everything I ordered tasted amazing (Spicy Pork Deopbab, Tuna Kimbap, Doenjang Jjigae, Chicken Bibimbap, Tteokbokki, Kimchi Mandu) 10/10 recommend!
