Chicco Di Caffe - Soglio

We were at this restaurant in August 2015. We were warmly welcomed. We had antipasti and then a pizza. Antipasti was very local and very nice. Pizza was heavy and very fat. When we finished, they gave us the bill. The bill had only a number, in euros, on it, no details. We were tired, they did speak anything else than italian, so we paid and went out. I nevertheless thought it was more expensive than other similar places around. Once outside I checked their board with the meals tarif: it just appeared that we were billed twice as much as we should have been. It just speaks for itself. We were foreigners and as such we have been crooked by this restaurant. So bad

Nicely located in the lovely small town of Soglio. Everything is fresh and home made. Very tasteful and authentic cuisine. Unfortunately there is no menu, no prices, so if you are a tourist, you'll be overcharged. Expect to pay Michelin price for a local restaurant :

Excellent food and a really fantastic friendly service. Tucked away in the town of Soglio, this is well worth a visit if you are in the area and want to sample the local Piemonte dishes and wines.

Visit my region and eat well....more than well! This is our passion. we enjoyed the kitchen of this place and the seriousness of the managers. art, history and good cuisine characterize our travels and our trips and also this time it was an experience to remember! it is not necessary to make hundreds of kilometers to find good and well-groomed dishes. excellent value for money. Let's go back to the first chance.
