Carruth Cellars - Solana Beach

Carruth Cellars held our wedding reception a few weeks back (a lot to the chagrin of some of the Carruth members looking for a glass of wine on a Saturday night, I'm sure... and it turned out exactly how we hoped. We have been members for a few years, so there is a special place in our hearts, and to have our wedding reception, there was only one additional perk. (The member discount on the event fee did not hurt! They were great with the planning, and allowed us to get a preview meeting to go over the logistics, as we wanted to be the layout and when we get traders in/out. Our DJ had a special request to set up his equipment a little early, and they have no problems that take it. We had a small problem in terms of quoted prices vs signed contract prices (that was probably due to Carruth event that coordinated personnel sales, but as soon as it was understood, they were more than willing to solve it for us and honor our originally quoted price. Oh, yeah, and the 5 cases of wine we bought for the wedding went down pretty smoothly! We wouldn't use Carruth for special events in the future!

So funny... they were live music on Sunday night while we enjoyed our wine. Cheers! Very recommended.

Love the winery. The staff is always friendly. Love the live music events they host.

Can't wait to go back for one of their tasting parties. Our fave in the flight was four play. The fresh French baguette, French butter, and pesto was so good also.
