Lucy's Market - Soldotna

Glad we asked for recommendations about places to stop on the way to Anchorage. Superb food and the bookstore was a bonus.

Their menu is small but excellent if you want healthy options. While it says market, it is much more. I had the special egg salad on sourdough rye and it deserved a 10! Their breads are the best, in house, on the peninsula. Their sandwich is generous and is cut so easy to share. If you are wanting specialty cheeses, their inventory is huge. They melt into an excellent bookstore—-what more could one ask for? If you are a visitor, this would be a welcome change from the ordinary choices you have faced.

I love the selection, and the owner is so sweet and accommodating! Thank you for providing options and variety to a small town. It’s a pleasure to support such a great locally owned business!

Love the food and market. Love that health tastes sooooo good. My 3 year old nephew loves all the soups and would eat there every day if he could.
