Big Grove Brewery Solon

Fantastic dining experience! I brought my entire family, and we were all warmly welcomed. A delightful young man named Trevin assisted us and made our visit even better!

I absolutely love the Big Grove location in Solon! The food here is a bit more upscale compared to their other locations, but it never disappoints. We sat on the patio tonight (what a beautiful evening) and had a wonderful experience. They were hosting an event to raise money for Pheasants Forever, which was a nice bonus. It was a bit noisy inside, but the patio was perfect. Our waitress was outstanding—attentive without being overbearing. And oh my goodness, the pastrami! It was like a Reuben on nitro—delicious! This place is a must-try!

We were so intrigued that we opted to share three appetizers. First up was the big soft pretzel, which was absolutely fantastic! Both the cheese sauce and the mustard were delicious—definitely an A+. Next, we tried the mac and cheese. It had a lot of creamy sauce, but could have used a bit more cheese flavor, so I’d give it a B. Lastly, we sampled the tater tot casserole. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. The tater tots were overly hard and the burger underneath was rather bland, so that gets a C. On the plus side, the service was outstanding; our waitress even gifted us a little something to take home—another Boomtown! The beer selection was excellent and the overall atmosphere was really pleasant. Now we can’t wait to try the Iowa City location!

I enjoy visiting Solon every time I'm here. We accidentally discovered Big Grove Brewpub, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is mostly friendly, and they offer numerous unique menu options. I can’t wait to return for the sweet potato fries topped with whipped goat cheese, Shara (which I had never tried before but now absolutely love), and herbs. The fried chicken was delicious, but I found it a bit too breaded for my liking. The service was fantastic, and the manager even referred to us as friends, which was really charming! I highly recommend checking this place out!

Charming little spot with good food. The service is friendly and relatively fast. Although this location is the smallest, it still delivers a great experience.
