Railway Cafe - Somerset

Great for railyway history buffs! it is not an original ess car, but a person car that has been converted into a diner. traditional breakfast price: pancake, French toast, egg to order, sausage, speck or chourico (Portuguese sausage). intended: not wheelchair accessible. not space for more than four per table, but larger groups can sit directly opposite and are simply arranged.

Very good breakfast! Seating can be a bit limited and waiting is outside, but well worth the wait. The home made corn beef hash was the best I ever had and has ruined corned hash forever. Omlete was very good as well. Will definitely be back in the future.

Great place for breakfast, the food is very delicious the waitress and workers there were really nice and overall it was a great experience. Definitely will be coming here again. The restaurant is on an actual train which makes it more unique, but also tight in space, but it's worth it and there may also be a wait.

This is a lovely little spot for breakfast. The waitstaff were incredibly friendly. I ordered the meat lovers and pancakes with a side of bacon, and everything was delicious. However, I found it odd that if you order a dish that comes with pancakes, you can't choose the type of pancake. Instead, you have to place a separate order to select which kind you want. I think this policy should be changed, as with every other breakfast item, I was given the option.

The atmosphere was reminiscent of a charming old-fashioned setting. The food was decent, though I plan to order something alongside the French toast next time, as I didn’t find it to be anything special. People come here for the experience, but it feels like they missed the mark.
