Beacon Street Pizza - Somerville

Food was delivered an hour late, and was cold. Pizza was overdone and sauceless, despite no indication of such on the menu.

Great local pizza with very friendly staff. Outdoor area is great for summer and large space for kids to play.

Delicious pizza! Cheese garlic bread is not their best but the pizza was great!

Not much to look at from the outside, almost didn't try it out. Woulda missed out on a very good Italian sub, I'd definitely try something else another time.

I think I found my neighborhood pizza place tonight! : It was my first time trying Beacon Street Pizza and I ordered a calzone called Sandra 's Favorite Calzone. When I walked in to pick it up I was greeted by a kind man behind the counter who was making other pizzas. I was struck by this place 's charm it has a hole in the wall grand mother 's kitchen feel. My calzone was a generous portion, the crust was chewy and not too thick or greasy, and there was Parmesan cheese sprinkled on the top with a little container of marinara sauce. Even the tomatoes had a lovely roasted flavor. Impressed and already looking forward to going again!!
