I'm a car with carnivores. I finally decided to give koshari mama a shot, and young. the fried aubergine was delicious and perfected! also the mushroom, the pfeffer and the wobble with garlic cream sauce was great. dina and katie treated my man and I like family. it was great to see two WHS alumni and look so good!
Delicious food, very sweet interieur, very nice service. I love this place and wish I'd live closer so I could get him all the time. everything is great, but I really recommend the koshari and the chicken sandwich. the photos are the falafel, and the kofta pane (which is made impossible) are not all on the menu that I would reject, and they also have to get dessert, not skip!
Food is expensive, portions small. I ordered the mushroom shawarma and kabe kofta; $46.Mushroom shawarma is okay, very garlicky sauce. Rice was dry and over cooked. The kabe kofta is impossible meat battered and deep fried. For $20 I was expecting an entree, not an appetizer. The restaurant is understaffed. Sweet ladies, but the ratio of staff to customer for dinner service meant the waitstaff was overworked.
Absolutely delicious! Very cute inside too. The mushroom shawarma was delicious. Big portions too. The mezze platter was also good, but for $18 it felt a bit underwhelming (the whole wheat pita bread also wasn’t the most fresh tasting. Would have preferred white). But the shawarma was incredible so 5 stars and for $11 an awesome price point. I swapped salad for the chips!
