Overall the food is good. Though I expected bit more from ribs for the price.
The food was great. Our Waiter was very polite and attentive. We ordered our drinks which came out right away. When he came with our drinks we ordered corn bread and biscuits and decided to order our main meals at the same time. Our corn bread and biscuits literally came out 2 minutes later and thought, “Wow, this great. Nice and fast”. However, we weren’t even half way though these 2 items and our main meals came out 2 minutes later. We also ordered a wedge salad and that came after our meals were brought to our table. Needless to say, I was disappointed. The restaurant was very quiet (7:00 PM on a Sunday night) and we felt so rushed. We know it wasn’t intentional but they’ve got to manage when the food comes out to the tables. I would’ve liked to have enjoyed our appetizers (if you’d call corn bread and biscuits an appetizer). Then have the salad and then the main meals after the salad had been eaten. My first time there which my son recommended. We’d definitely go back but hope they heed the advise on managing the timing of service between courses.
Pre-movie meal included the deviled eggs, Carolina wings, wedge salad and jumbalaya, all great. Entrees were fried chicken and ribs, the table raved. Service was friendly and perfect. Bourbon pecan pie and coconut pie also received high marks. Always a great place to indulge.
Came here for brunch. The cornbread is amazing and so is the poutine. Chicken and waffles were available as a special but are not explicitly on the menu.
