The Neighborhood - Somerville

I went for the raving reviews but I found this place perfectly adequate. The cream of wheat was indeed the star of the show. It came quickly and hot, but then it was about a 45-50 minute wait for our mains. We went on a Sunday morning so maybe this is as slammed as they get but I wouldn’t recommend if you are super hungry. It also took about 20 minutes to get a table, but you can put your name on a wait list and they have free coffee outside which is a nice touch. The mains were decent… far from the best breakfast I’ve ever had but it was fine enough. Also heads up if you’re visiting from out of town/out of country it’s cash or venmo only.

Stopped in for breakfast. Food was great, toast they serve is delicious. Omelets and home fries were perfect. Didn't need to put hot sauce or ketchup on himefries. They start you out with cream of wheat and even though I usually don't eat it elsewhere this one was

Delicious food. I especially love their cream of wheat. Cozy atmosphere...warm weather offers outdoor, under grapevines, seating.

Everything is great. Never had bad service or food. Love when the patio is open.

This place rocks. A diner atmosphere with stellar food and huge portions. I had the wheat pancakes with eggs and home fries. And the other reviews are not messing around the cream of wheat is undefeated.
