Really great veggie and non veggie options! super cheap, kind staff and food was quickly made. Also takeout options — perfect for a quick meal!
There are a few restaurants like this in Taipei, but I think this is the best. Their most famous specialties are radish and sesame pastries. Radish is my favourite, but savory black sesame is also really good. I also recommend their buns (mustard greens and green beans). All dishes are *vegan* and *allium free* (some people mistake mustard greens for chives, but this restaurant would never sneak allium in your food). Highly recommended.
Bought the beans bao and some pastries, they are all delicious, will try more in the future.
Their baozi are large, delicious and cheap. With a good amount of filling, fluffy dough and a big variety of typical fillings to choose from (e.g. Chinese chives, pork, mushrooms bamboo spouts, black sesame, red beans), it is hard to think of an equally good authentic baozi restaurant in all of Taipei. They also serve other traditional Taiwanese breakfast meals.
