Pehelwan Dhaba - Sonīpat

The restaurant does not serve fresh parathas as they are made in bulk and heated in a tandoor when ordered. Many people are unaware of this, but as someone who has been dining in Murthal for the past 20 years, I always inform the waiter that I am aware of this practice and request a fresh paratha. While most establishments accommodate my request, this dhaba did not provide me with a fresh paratha despite my insistence.

This is one of the oldest dhabas on the chandigarh autobahn and have to say they have really retained their quality in the run of the years. it is extremely clean without flying, really impressive as it 24x7 and the number of people who eat here. the waiters give them personal attention n never let them know how full the place is. they will bring their tee later when they have finished eating n are not over the table n are the instant u beckon they. eating here is amazingly good. not too oily. their parrathas are served with fresh homemade white butter. I'm not a big fan of Indian sweets, but you guys are killer, always have it every time I get there.

The parathas at this restaurant are amazing! I especially love the mixed one. The prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend!
