River's End Inn - Sonoma County

It is an absolute dream of a location for a restaurant. Such lovely views of the river and the ocean ?

The view and location really speak for themselves, but what an impressive Inn! We recently stayed at River's End and highly recommend staying at one of the cabins. Amazing views all day and a short trip into town for kayaking, coffee, etc. The restaurant is really phenomenal and a reason to visit in and of itself. Nearby activities: Kayaking, exploring coastal habitat, beaches. Walkability: Easy walk down to the estuary. Food drinks: Excellent food, Wine and cocktail selection.

Beautiful place and decent service. Food needs to be better at that price. Over cooked pasta in the prawns and pasta dish. Lacking flavor. The steak had to much going on! It ruined the steak. Blue cheese and the smoking of the filet wih onions and balsamic. Way way way to much on a filet. I'll admit I may have missed the Blue cheese part but it was still all to much. The blue cheese also broke so it didn't look appetizing . Great view of the Russian River. But I recommend just having a glass of wine on the deck at sunset.

I recently visited Rivers End for dinner with a large party. I did not stay at the hotel.The location was beautiful and the food was good. However, the restaurant was unable to accommodate a large party even though we called ahead months in advance and were told this would not be a problem. They also would not work with our party when it came to splitting the check. This was a truly disappointing experience from a restaurant I had higher expectations from.

Beautiful view from the room. Food was excellent!!! We love this place, the food is excellent, the staff is great and the rooms are amazing. Would highly recommend
