Schug Carneros Estate Winery - Sonoma

It was a fantastic setting for wine tasting on a lovely sunny day in California. Val was an excellent host, and the wines were delightful, particularly the Pinot.

During our trip to California, my husband and I had just one day to explore Sonoma and decided to visit two wineries. We loved the Pinot Noir at Schug during our first visit three years ago, so it was a top choice for us, and it did not disappoint! One of the great advantages was the option to ship 6-11 bottles home for just $7, which was perfect since we didn’t want to deal with bringing them on the plane. The staff was incredibly friendly, and Rob took excellent care of us!

The restaurant has a very nice and friendly atmosphere, along with a great selection of wines.

During our stay in California, my husband and I had a day to visit Sonoma and were able to get two wineries. We loved the wine (pinot noirs) so much the first time we visited Schug 3 years ago, it was top on the list and they did not disappoint! The ability to ship 6-11 bottles home for $7 was an advantage as we did not want to fly home with them. They were all so friendly and Rob took care of us!

Fantastic winery. Service was great and I may have ordered several cases of wine because of it.
