Bar Brasserie le Central - Sospel

The title says everything. I've never eaten here, but stopped some times between Menton and took the train of Merveille. Sospel is a pleasant city to flower around and this café is always friendly.

This restaurant came during the walk in Sospel. Good luck. Very popular with local workman alike. I had a delicious ham cheese sandwich (sound level, but was excellent big) my friend had the dish du Jour, a steak with salad.... The steak was similar to a hangar steak and very tasteful. We also ordered a plate of Pomme Frites. Two little Pichet by vin. The service was great, it was a nice sunny day outside to sit and enjoy our food.

Waiter had a little English and we had a little French, but he was very patient and friendly, so we muddled our way through. Lunch in the square proved good quality, waiter was attentive and accommodating. Has our recommendation.

We arrived in Sospel for a visit quite late for lunch, but were welcomed here at 2.30 and had a lovely entrecôte steak with great frites and salad, and a stunning lemon tart ice cream with limoncello. The service was brisk and friendly. The prices...are very reasonable. This is a great spot for people watching, it's all going on between 3 and 3.30! We've been coming to Sospel on and off for 45 years and find it reassuringly little changed in all that while, this being one of the social hubs in the town and a regular haunt for the locals.

Friendly, good prices and excellent for people watching. was already a one-way here for happy hour visiting earlier and it will never be old. we also ate here in the evening and it was very pleasant.
