Feedback gevenThis was our first time that we have been caused by covid since the closures. we went to a check day so that the menu was not published. 12 euro only an apero, starter of austerity, main cooked by steak flambé to perfection and so delicate glass. by wein, cheese course and profiterole, followed by coffee. excellent service. highly recommended.
This restaurant is located in the lycee hotelier Quercy-Perigord, where they are served by students and eating is cooked by students. Sounds like I don't sound like that. this is quality food that is prepared for a high standard and of course their highly professional instructors are on hand to ensure that all runs smoothly. it is at least bogglingly good value and the weine (a selection of 4 red and 4 white on the day we went) are excellent and soou much cheaper than in a normal restaurant. the fronton of le roc was excellent and only 13 euro! we were served an amuse bouche by ox cheek in jelly and a light savor with trimmed that was really delicate and tasty. it followed a white asparagus in a Maltaise sauce (hollandaise mixed with blood orange juice) that was delicious. the main course was steaktare, a generous part of fine steaks, slightly flavored with French french french fries. the only criticism was that the chips were beautifully colored, but not crisp enough. the desert was a nailed snap like basket with gariguettes, cream and a light nutty ice. very refreshing and beautifully presented. an excellent finish to eat. our young waiter was well presented and professional. he spoke good English and you could say that he was desperate to try it. at the end we have made compromises and spoke a little bit of each speech. tablecloths, serviettes and flowers as in a good restaurant. beautiful in view also over the edge of the city to the hills beyond. and the harm .17 euro for the meal! they must book and they can check the menus in advance online. for good eating and weeping and another experience they do not see further. it is a fun place to take over the guests from Britain and see well that the hotel and restaurant trade is taken seriously and considered a real career not to fill a job.
In the fairy two visits. both painting very positiw. service of students. of course they have to learn, but everything in everything was very good. good quality of food and low prices make it tempting to return!
This restaurant deserves more attention by tourists. It is run by a well known, in the Perigord Quercy, lycée hôtelier. Nearly all is prepared and organised by the students, under supervision. They give great quality in food and service. Amazing variety with a very good quality/price ...relation. The students are eager to learn and are very friendly. They do it by the book! Menu or carte, it is the same price!
Having lunch or dinner in a classroom situation is avert different and rewarding experience. Gather food, which is cooked, and served by the students, under the direction of their teachers is an absolute joy to share. Booking essential and the themed evenings a delight. This...is true gastronomy, to be shared and enjoyed !
