The Saloon Lounge - Sousse

Locals will want to take you out for dinner at the saloon but avoid if you can there are plenty of other better, local restaurants. As the name suggests, this is a steakhouse which is western themed. I could barely cut through the ‘most tender’ Argentinian steak. It’s nice for a once off because this is ‘the place’ to be seen in Sousse for dinner

After booking a table for a friends night out we were expecting a good night among friends. We were seated and ordered cocktails then for no apparent reason we were escorted out the door by a very rude security guard who refused to answer any questions. The bottom line was because we did not want to buy a bottle of absolute! One of the friends was a Tunisian who is muslim and did not wish to drink alcohol. As he was in his own country this should of been respected. Not escorted out the door by some very rude pigs. Would never return to this place as just purely money motivated selling alcohol to kids!

I booked a table for 4 shown where to sit down, 5 minutes later being told to move as we didnt order a 200 dinar bottle of vodka as we didnt do so we got escorted out the door by a very rude security man. Being a Muslim country and one of us doesnt drink alcohol, we found it very disrespectful and didnt want to buy a bottle of absolute. Nothing friendly about staff or security if you dont want a bottle of vodka this is not the place for you. Disgraceful place wont be going back

Very nice atmosphere and nice live music. We had a great party last night

The place location is great Else there is nothing special You may wait for the live bands until 00:30 to start for no reasons. The security are rude as well.
