Brigadoon House - South Ayrshire

After our wedding, we arrived at the hotel and from the moment we entered the building, Francis and Alex went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The food was exceptional, the room was lovely, and the staff were outstanding. We would give ten out of ten for the service provided by the staff.

Although the dining experience has been affected by Covid, the Brig o Doon has managed to maintain a mostly positive experience for its customers. The food quality and presentation were very good, with excellent mussels, well-cooked fish, and a curry that will appeal to a broad audience. The desserts were also fresh and well presented, with generous portions and pricing that reflects the quality of the food. However, with minimal staffing, there was a sense that customer service was stretched to its limit. The dining room is attractive and interesting, but the current staffing situation has created a lack of hospitable atmosphere. Overall, this restaurant deserves to succeed and is a valuable asset to the community, thanks to its hardworking staff.
