Fantastic food is brilliant first time I have been here and will definitely be back customer service is brilliant made to feel so welcome hopefully get to go back soon
I arrived a few minutes after midday on a Saturday and found the restaurant empty. I received a warm welcome from the man behind the bar, and the waitress kindly allowed my son to try a small sample of the Tennents lager before we placed our orders, as he had never tasted it before. My son ordered the Haddock and chips, while I opted for a smaller basket meal of Cajun chicken tempura. By the time our food arrived, the place had started to fill up, so it is advisable to arrive early. The portions were generous and delicious, with the basket meal turning out to be not so small after all. The fish came with a fresh side salad, and the chicken was accompanied by creamy coleslaw and chips. At £12 for two mains, it was definitely worth the money. If you find yourself in Ayr on the High Street, I recommend taking a short stroll from Wallace Tower down the side street to discover this hidden gem of a restaurant.
My family and I went out for a meal at this restaurant and the food was excellent. The restaurant and bar staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We have already recommended this place to all of our friends and family. A big thank you to the owners, Phil and Beth.
Disgusting bar that got stuck in the 80s along with its clientel. Coronavirus protection measures are not adequate and the abusive alcoholics chain smoking outside are not the best decoration.
