Absolutely terrible experience. We hired the food truck for a event. They showed up a few hours after the agreed time. Food was mediocre. I rather have birria Gonzalez on valley.
Good birria but could way more spicier. Felt it was a little bland but good. Taco truck on the corner of Hacienda and Gale
I will say that the gentleman has a great smile and is very friendly but the tacos are completely over priced at $18 after tax for four tacos and completely flavorless. Boil beef with chilies and that is it. I've had much better tacos in Los Angeles
El Cabo Pepe's was such a sad disappointment. I hate writing negative reviews but this was unacceptable. After looking at the pictures and some of the reviews I was so excited to try a new Birria place. Sadly, the service and food was just subpar. Starting off with the staff, they were just staring at us and rushing us to order. I personally just felt as if they wanted us to left to close up shop and go home. Now the biggest disappointment was the food. We got the 3 Amigo Platter. After looking at the photos and then actually seeing what we got, there is just no comparison. The food had zero flavoring and was just overloaded with cheese. All 3 different tacos tasted the exact same. It would either just tortilla and boiled meat flavor or just a full bite of tasteless cheese. The consume (the dip) was also flavorless and would just leave my mouth oily . Overall $18 for these 3 tacos is just outrageous. Poor service and serving unseasoned boiled beef has left my mental and stomach upset. I unfortunately would not recommend El Cabo Pepe's
