This is a small town, greasy spoon style of restaurant. However, don 't judge it by the genre alone. The food is excellent! The batter is thin and crispy so there 's no trapped grease beneath the batter. The fish was fresh and cooked to the perfect flake point. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The fries were tasty and not the least bit greasy. Even the gravy was the perfect thickness and taste to blend with the food. The portions are ENORMOUS! Make sure you are very hungry, or plan on sharing your meal with a friend. The prices are very reasonable as well, even if the portions had been more typical. The restaurant also has burgers and a full menu of Chinese food. Everything is made there. Even the Chinese food tastes great and has large portions.

Two 3-Piece wings and chips and a small onion rings for $42.00 that were too greasy to even finish. Sad to say it will be my last meal at the Seaside. Used to be the best on the shore, definitely no more. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30
