1775 Texas Pit Bbq Llc - South Brazos

I’m from a different kinda BBQ background (Kansas City). This place completely exceeded expectations. Probably the best brisket I’ve ever had. The pulled pork in the top 10, and the sausage is incredible. I’m typically into spicier sauces but their pepper BBQ sauce is terrific!

Great BBQ!!Ribs are outstanding moist and smoked to perfection. Good variety on meat selections and on Saturday the Smoked Belly Burnt Ends are to die for.Get there before 12:30 so you won't miss out on anything!

TL;DR These guys make the best brisket I've ever had. The only thing better than the brisket was their hospitality.I've been wanting to give 1775 a try for a while. I finally had my chance last Thursday. To say I love BBQ would be an understatement. I've eaten a lot of BBQ in my life. I've eaten a lot of BBQ from some pretty famous places; nationally known places. Now, I don't want to bring those other guys down when I say this. They all make good BBQ. Heck, I live four blocks from one of the top places in Texas Monthly's top 50. Their BBQ is great. But it's not as good as 1775. The brisket I had at 1775 was the most delicious, moist, smoky, flavorful, barky, melt-in-your-mouth, next-level amazing brisket I've ever tasted. It is difficult to describe in words just how good it was. Oh, and the hospitality... Brandon and Brad are a couple of great guys, and boy do they know how to cook. I'll be back whenever I'm in town to see my Aggie.

This place is tasty and I think from time to time gets better. Normally I have to drive at least 45 minutes to get Bbq that is excellent and now I don’t have to drive as far if I don’t want to which is nice. If you’re the type of person who goes to a barbecue joint and really enjoys the sides I would say their sides are good for the most part,but you’ll definitely find as good if not better sides at many of the amazing barbecue joints throughout the state in my opinion. If you’re looking for some legit craft barbecue and are all about the meat , this place will do the trick for sure.

Currently my favorite BBQ place in the BCS area. I’ve had several great experiences there with friends. The owners are very friendly and even showed us their smoker when we took a group there. The brisket is amazing! Very tender with a nice crisp on the edges. Definitely recommend this place if you haven’t tried it yet.
