After a very long day: driving 2 hours to College Station, 12 hours of work and 2 hours back to the Austin area, I stopped at Boomtown for my first meal at 9 pm!!! Yes I said 9, i did t have time all day!! I figured, let me get some BBQ, for a good meal as I drive home. Well, from their location to the on ramp of Hwy 6 is about a half mile... By the time I got to the bridge, 80% of it had gone out the window the part that I did it was basically bread onions and pickles. The brisket sandwich was more like the fat sandwich with the idea of brisket on it. I'm sure the meat is OK or at least decent but I'm gonna give it a bad review because the guy didn't have the decency to serve me meat maybe he likes fat therefore he should save it for himself. Instead of a briskit sandwich i had a fat sandwich.... Staff was nice.... But just lacked attention to what they serve
These are the ribs that I was served before noon today, they convinced me to get a half rack and they were not cooked today, very clear that they were 1-2 days old and had been heated up, very VERY dry, also got two chicken halves the first half of as old as well, very VERY DRY and chewy could not eat this one AT ALL, the second chicken half was much better more juicy and I could tell it was cooked today but no flavor. This was my third attempt and was disappointed EVERY TIME. Please stop serving day old food to customers unless they request it at a discounted price
Ordered 1 pound of slice brisket and a order of pinto beans, brisket was very salty and the beans were not done. I paid to much to not be able to eat the food. This will be my last time.
Brisket sandwich was requested with no sauce. Sadly it is dry and overly salty. Half chicken was pretty good. Boomer potato overall good, again very salty.
