Cotton Patch Cafe - South Brazos

We’ve only been there a handful of times but enjoyed our experience every time. The most recent time we went, our server, Devan, was amazing.

My boyfriend and I spontaneously stopped here for lunch one afternoon after leaving an appointment in the area. It wasn't very busy and we were waited on and served quickly. I have no complaints about the food or service. It is a very open atmosphere, so while we waited we looked around and it was a lot of dirty areas that should be cleaned regularly since you're serving food. It's an open ceiling so you can see the piping and a/c returns and ceiling fans and it was lots of dust buildup that is coming down onto your food.

We went in this evening and everything was great. Dustin was our server he was very good at his job.

Food was delicious. Large portions. Had beef tips, meat was tender and moist not hard and dried out. Gave me a pub style food feeling. Green beans were great. Oven baked squash was a little weird but that's just because I was expecting sliced squash, I think it was some type of casserole but it was very tasty and I would definitely order it again. Only complaint I would have was my Ceasar salad, lettuce was a little on the wilty side, but they did not lack on Ceasar dressing or cheese. Will definitely order from here again. ? ??

Great food, great service, great place to eat. Orders are always ready fast. We love coming here.
