Feedback gevenSo yesterday 8/3 I had the most unfortunate experience ever. My son turned 8 and I called and reserved tables for him to have his birthday dinner. Upon arriving to the restaurant, we sat and ordered. We had about 15 ppl in our party. Food came out at different times. 3 of our party guests didn’t get food at all until it was time to go. They ended up giving it to them for free but the fact that they weren’t able to eat with the rest of us was unsatisfying. They also said they’d come sing happy birthday to my son. So he was expecting it and no one ever came. It’s almost as we were forgotten about. The waitress didn’t know what the hell he was doing. I had to go personally get up out my seat find a manager and tell them to HELP him. He was taking money , not bringing back change. Mixing orders. We spent more time trying to get our receipts and change than we did eating. The service was HORRIBLE. actually, the worse experience I’ve encountered at a restaurant. Do not go there or plan events at their location. You will be treated as such. I am saddened by this experience because this is my sons favorite restaurant and he expected so much more. Even after me speaking to management. They did not move with a sense of urgency. It was horrible. College station down 1030474664838 points!!! I’m disappointed
When they first came out a long time ago I didn't care for it so I had avoided it for years. Recently my husband and I went to one in college station and it was amazing. They re-did their menu and had a lot of yummy lookin drink choices. The fold was absolutely delicious, they had so many things to choose from. The price was also well worth what you get. You get a lotta food. I highly recommend this place, haven't tried other locations yet but this one was great!
The gumbo is flavorful, the blackened redfish could use a little more blackening but it is still delicious along with the green beans. They really should expand their draft beer beyond just domestics including their bottled selections.
The blackened tilapia was so good. I'm glad I substituted the green beans for red beans and rice! Great food, good service. Will come back again.
Good atmosphere, clean, very attentive staff. I can't speak on the rest of the food but the etoufee was bland and served on dirty rice, had to mix in the dipping sauce from the boudin balls to give it any flavor. Etoufee is meant to be served over a bed of white rice and dirty rice is a side dish. Do better.
