The Cookshack - South Brazos

Counter service was friendly and helpful. Chicken was good, but the sauces were meh. Clean restaurant , with a bar. Didn't order from the bar so don't know how well stocked.

Great people and great food, their Texas level heat is no joke. My personal favorite is the chicken and waffles.

I had concerns when there were zero cars outside and should have listened to my gut feeling then I ordered and the food was terrible will never stop there

The food was great! May take a while to get your order, because it was cooked fresh (at least when we went). Worth the wait!

Besides the food being phenomenal… the service was amazing. The manager came to our table to constantly check on us. He also did the same with others. What a great place to stop while your in College Station. I’m really proud to see how organize, clean and awesome service we were provided. Especially coming from a younger crowd. Manager is doing a great job with the place. We came in for a campus tour at Aggieland and stayed for the food.Let’s not talk about what great flavor the chicken had and the MAC N CHEESE WAS yummy!!! If your down there make sure to stop here!!
