This time, there was no healthy muesli on offer, just a satisfying breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese, and other fillings to cure a hangover. The smoothie was also delicious and included antioxidants. The food was served promptly and overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.
This upmarket cafe seemed like a pretty good place to go after watching a movie at South Bank cinemas. The hot chocolate was pretty nice and I liked how they served it in a clear cup with marshmallows on the side.
I discovered this cafe near QPAC, only about 100 meters from the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Center. Jessie initially wanted a coffee but ended up ordering a Chardonnay. I opted for a chai latte, which was very creamy and had a strong chai flavor. The restaurant had a business-like setup with a posh atmosphere. The traffic noise from Grey St was noticeable at the side entrances.
This was the first restaurant we stumbled upon when searching for breakfast. We decided to order the Pancakes, which were decent, but in hindsight, I wish I had ordered the Eggs Benedict considering the small price difference. We will likely seek out another place for lunch.
The Wait Manager was very friendly, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our food coming out in time. I would recommend visiting CBD Cafe.
