Windsor Castle - South Bucks

My group of 10 adults and 4 children gathered at this pub for a pre-Christmas meal. We were asked to provide our menu choices in advance to assist the staff. Despite the large number of us, we were served in stages and the staff managed the situation well. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring nobody left hungry. We paid in family groups, which could have been complicated, but the process went smoothly. The young serving staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely return to this venue in the future.

The food was excellent value. My husband ordered the famous fish and chips, which was exceptional and huge. I went for the seafood linguine, which also came in a large portion. The only downside was that there was too much pasta and not enough sauce to go with it. However, as I kept eating, the dish got more and more delicious. A suggestion for the chef would be to either reduce the amount of pasta or increase the sauce. The entire menu looked tempting and I found it difficult to choose what to order as everything seemed delicious. Our server, Ella, was fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and very helpful, making our dining experience even better. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes from the menu. Overall, it was great value for money, with large portions and a lovely atmosphere.

I have visited this restaurant on several occasions, but I was disappointed with the new young staff who were serving the tables during my last two visits. I had to wait almost 20 minutes for them to take my food order while they were standing around chatting. They need to take a more professional approach. Despite this, the food is always excellent and the portions are a great value for the money.

We had a lovely Sunday roast here a couple of weeks ago. Plenty of food. Staff were lovely. We could also take a little dog in the bar area which is a nice area to sit. We will deffo be going again

Celebrated the anniversary of our first date here this week, 39 year along ! The pub is great and food superb. It was very busy, which is a good thing to see and the service and quality of food wasn't impacted at all. We had a lovely evening and will of course be back !
