The Old Crown - South Cambridgeshire

Robert Sarah, who was previously a chef at The Exhibition, Over and The Trinity Foot, Over, took over this dining pub a couple of years ago. The restaurant has been recently refurbished.

The restaurant offers fantastic food, a lively atmosphere, and exceptional service. It's a great alternative to the hotel restaurant at Menzies. Despite its unassuming exterior, the restaurant has a full car park, indicating its popularity among diners.

Tonight had a great evening with our beautiful old neighbours. the staff was very understanding and thoughtful, as it took time for them to decide what they wanted to eat. the staff was very welcoming, happy, polite and they could laugh with them (all young men). the place itself is spacious and not with excessive amounts of tables curved. it is a very relaxing environment, feels pretty secret. eating is amazing and they get a lot of choice from the menu and the portions are huge! I will definitely be back and recommend to others! well made for them all x

I was extremely impressed by the staff and the food, and couldn't understand why the restaurant was so empty given our fantastic experience. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family.

We were with a party of 26 for a Christmas dinner that was excellent in every sight. the staff was pleasant and friendly, eating was served on very hot plates and perfectly cooked. a good time had of all and I will certainly go back to the new year to taste the excellent fish that will be on the menu. happy christmas and a happy new year 2017 to the owners and employees of the old krone, they are great!
