We paid £17.50 for two medium glasses of extremely mediocre wine. Staff were polite and the place was clean but that doesn’t make up for it! Meal type: Other

The food was only a 3 for me, the sirloin steak was a bit on the gristly side, the salad undressed they haven't heard of French mustard. I was surprised that they took payment instantly on the wrong card which proved problematic when I checked out the next day added a 10% charge which I was unaware of. So £30 for an average sirloin steak with a pineapple juice. Service: Dine in

Rooms not great. Very small old furniture worn out not antique). The restaurant is allegedly good but it was booked out when I stayed. There is a McDonalds just along the road.

Nice ambience and very handy if you're staying at the Holiday Inn Express next door. Has table service, but also has a bar.... getting drinks from the bar is much quicker for those who walk up.

This pub used to be nice until the hotel development. Now it is bland and very overpriced. The service and location both received a rating of 3 out of 5 stars.
