Briana's Pancake Cafe - South Elgin

Sat for half an hour with the menu folded in front of me and nobody took my order. Walking out, they had the audacity to charge me $3.50 for a cup of coffee.

Wish I could give 0 stars.. waited 40 minutes for my food, from what I could they weren’t busy today. 3 people walked out since they were tired of waiting, watered down Sierra Mist, waitress didn’t care to be helpful or just do her job. When I asked for the manager he/she never came out. When I asked the lady who I asked for the manager to she said “I told her to you needed her but she didn’t want to come out” what???FIRST and LAST time I come here. Never again. Taking my money elsewhere. Terrible service to be giving your hard earned money to. Stay away.

The waitress took 15 minutes to take my to go order. Once she took the order it took a long time. She said I should have ordered sooner. When I finally received the food the chocolate chip pancakes had three chocolate chips and chocolate syrup on the top pancake. There was nothing at all on the other plain pancakes in the order. The Elgin location is so much better.

The food was fantastic. The wait on service at first took a while, I'm sure next time it will be a five star review.

We had the best milkshakes in the US here: they weren't overly sweet, but packed with flavor. The food was also fantastic and served quickly. The service was impeccable. We will definitely return to try your waffles!
